Target Population:

Individuals who have not yet decided whether or not they want to obtain a Concealed Carry Permit.  Class should be limited to 8 participants. Each session will last approximately 90 minutes.

Class Description
:

Carrying a concealed weapon is not for everyone. This class is designed to be an introduction to several basic topics that must be realized and understood before an individual can decide if he/she should obtain a concealed weapon permit.  In addition, other non-lethal options such as Pepper Spray will be discussed.

This is a much more of a discussion vs. a lecture format. Class is designed for people who have not come to the conclusion whether or not carrying a concealed weapon is for them. Class objective is not “to sell” the concept of concealed carry. This is a format where the pros, cons, and responsibility of concealed carry are highlighted. Social implications and perspective of friends and relatives will be discussed. Social, legal, and moral ethics will be presented for discussion.

Class Objectives:

Each student will gain a much deeper appreciation toward the many “Mini-Decisions” that must be thought through before one can make an informed decision that goes into concealed carry.

Each student will have a chance to evaluate their personal make-up and whether they are  suited for concealed weapon on a lethal firearm.
